Job Description
Position: Laboratory Assistant
Water Tower Group is seeking a highly motivated and organized Laboratory Assistant to join our team. This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. As a Laboratory Assistant you will be responsible for assisting our team of scientists and researchers in conducting experiments analyzing data and maintaining the laboratory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist scientists and researchers in conducting experiments and collecting data
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and supplies
- Follow laboratory safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Record and organize experimental data for analysis
- Perform routine laboratory tests and procedures
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during experiments
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all laboratory activities
- Communicate effectively with team members and provide support as needed
- Stay up-to-date with laboratory procedures and techniques
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a scientific field or equivalent work experience
- Previous laboratory experience is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and procedures
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
