Assistant Marketing Manager
Our client is seeking a dynamic and creative Assistant Marketing to join their hospitality team. This is a multifaceted role that blends online marketing guest relations and front-of-house responsibilities ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys working with people just as much as they love digital strategy.
Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Marketing & Digital Presence:
- Develop and manage the propertys online presence including social media platforms
- Create engaging content including short videos and reels
- Monitor audience engagement and tailor content to suit target demographics
- Plan and maintain a monthly social media calendar in collaboration with the Marketing Manager
- Manage and update the websites imagery and information
- Generate monthly marketing performance reports
- Maintain and engage a contact database for regular newsletters and mailers
- Ensure consistent top-of-mind awareness with tour operators and travel agents through monthly email outreach
Online Reputation Management:
- Respond to online reviews via platforms like Guest Revu
- Proactively manage online feedback to drive higher guest ratings
Front Office & Guest Relations:
- Handle reception duties: phone calls enquiries reservations quoting and invoicing
- Respond to in-room and special occasion requests
- Assist guests with excursion info local recommendations and area knowledge
- Manage and resolve guest complaints diplomatically and professionally
- Manage group tour bookings in coordination with the marketing department
General Administration:
- Support the General Manager and Marketing Manager with allocated administrative tasks
- Ensure seamless internal communication between marketing and guest services
Requirements:
- Prior experience in hospitality front office or marketing support roles
- Proficiency with a Property Management System (PMS); Semper PMS experience preferred
- Social media savvy with basic content creation skills (graphics/video)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A friendly professional and approachable demeanor
- Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
