Job Description

Assistant Marketing Manager

Our client is seeking a dynamic and creative Assistant Marketing to join their hospitality team. This is a multifaceted role that blends online marketing guest relations and front-of-house responsibilities ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on environment and enjoys working with people just as much as they love digital strategy.


Duties and Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Marketing & Digital Presence:

  • Develop and manage the propertys online presence including social media platforms
  • Create engaging content including short videos and reels
  • Monitor audience engagement and tailor content to suit target demographics
  • Plan and maintain a monthly social media calendar in collaboration with the Marketing Manager
  • Manage and update the websites imagery and information
  • Generate monthly marketing performance reports
  • Maintain and engage a contact database for regular newsletters and mailers
  • Ensure consistent top-of-mind awareness with tour operators and travel agents through monthly email outreach

Online Reputation Management:

  • Respond to online reviews via platforms like Guest Revu
  • Proactively manage online feedback to drive higher guest ratings

Front Office & Guest Relations:

  • Handle reception duties: phone calls enquiries reservations quoting and invoicing
  • Respond to in-room and special occasion requests
  • Assist guests with excursion info local recommendations and area knowledge
  • Manage and resolve guest complaints diplomatically and professionally
  • Manage group tour bookings in coordination with the marketing department

General Administration:

  • Support the General Manager and Marketing Manager with allocated administrative tasks
  • Ensure seamless internal communication between marketing and guest services

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in hospitality front office or marketing support roles
  • Proficiency with a Property Management System (PMS); Semper PMS experience preferred
  • Social media savvy with basic content creation skills (graphics/video)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A friendly professional and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
