Job Description
Design and simulate solar PV systems using Helioscope
Conduct site assessments shade analysis and system sizing
Interpret and produce electrical single-line diagrams (SLDs)
Perform energy yield analysis and performance ratio calculations
Coordinate with installation teams contractors and suppliers
Ensure compliance with local codes standards and safety regulations
Prepare technical reports and documentation for clients and stakeholders
Skills & Experience:
Minimum 23 years of experience in solar PV system design and implementation
Proficient in Helioscope and familiar with other tools such as AutoCAD PVsyst and Excel
Solid understanding of electrical design principles and solar industry standards
Strong analytical problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Qualification:
BEng/BSc/ BTech in Electrical Engineering Renewable Energy
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered
