Our client is a top-notch investment company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.
Operations
Lead the enhancement and upkeep of operational policies and procedures related to fund accounting settlements and administration to ensure timely and accurate execution.
Addressing errors immediately and offering solutions to ensure effective day-to-day delivery.
Cash Management & Back Office Support
Overseeing portfolio cash management and the trading system (Aladdin).
Coordinate closely with key back-office departments including Compliance Legal Sales Marketing and IT.
Oversee special projects and assist in rolling out new technologies or systems.
Reporting & Compliance
Build and maintain reporting tools for client and regulatory purposes.
Providing regular reports to clients and the regional management team with key information and insight into contribution matters.
Portfolio Performance & Attribution Analytics
Maintaining and developing accurate performance attribution models for various asset classes.
Compare performance results to benchmarks and internal KPIs/MIS reports.
Review investment decisions and portfolio dynamics over defined reporting cycles.
Operational Risk & Internal Control
Analyze operational risks based on historical data and activity trends.
Assist the Risk Manager in embedding risk management frameworks and compliance policies.
Support internal audits by ensuring transparency and control over fund transactions and workflows.
IT & Systems Leadership
Manage the overall IT budget and expenditures.
Lead IT project implementation and oversee system teams.
Enforce company-wide IT standards including information security disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Requirements
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Business-related disciplines required; Masters degree or certifications such as CPA/ACCA are an advantage.
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in operations within asset management or financial services.
In-depth understanding of asset management workflows and industry standards.
Strong grasp of investment instruments and performance tracking especially in equity and fixed income attribution.
Analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to build attribution models across multiple asset types.
Solid background in managing projects business applications or financial systems.
Excellent communication in both English and Vietnamese at the executive level.
