Working Location: Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam travel required across the country

The In-Store Specialist is a field-based role responsible for delivering product training overseeing brand visibility and supporting local retail and distribution partners. The position blends retail execution merchandising and commercial training and is essential to ensuring brand consistency across Vietnams optical retail market.
This role is open to both local and expatriate candidates with prior experience in the Vietnam market. Fluency in Vietnamese is a strong asset but candidates without it will be considered if they can effectively manage local business interactions and partnerships.
Ensure all relevant store staff and distributor teams receive brand training within the first 3 months of onboarding.
Achieve a high compliance rate in merchandising and visual audits across the retail footprint.
Support the timely execution of in-store marketing activations and trade materials across all regions.
Deliver structured technical and commercial training to distributor sales teams and retail store staff.
Conduct in-store visits to verify brand presence merchandising compliance and POSM implementation.
Act as a field liaison between trade marketing and local store partners coordinating with contractors and vendors
Collect feedback from the market and report on execution standards and visual performance.
Maintain accurate visit reports and administrative documentation.
Education & Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business Marketing or related fields preferred
Certification or education in Optometry is a plus
Professional Experience
Minimum 3 years in retail field support trade marketing or training roles
Experience in the eyewear industry is highly preferred
Experience in cosmetics beauty or premium retail sectors may be considered if merchandising and store training exposure is strong
Prior experience working in Vietnam is required
Technical Skills
Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint at a basic to intermediate level
Comfortable with field reporting and training delivery
Familiarity with merchandising audits or retail compliance tools is a plus
Behavioral Competencies
Strong presentation and communication skills
Eye for detail in visual merchandising and brand standards
Organized proactive and able to manage field operations independently
Comfortable working with both corporate and field-level stakeholders
Knowledge Domain
Understanding of luxury retail standards optical categories and Vietnams retail distribution landscape
Ability to manage distributors and large retail partners across different cities
