Job Description
Structural Design Engineer C-130J Airframe Design (Onsite - Marietta GA)
Seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer with strong CATIA V5 skills to design develop and support structural modifications for C-130 C-5 P-3 and S-3 aircraft for a global aerospace company. The role involves working on complex design projects production line support and cross-functional collaboration to ensure manufacturability and compliance with aerospace standards.
This is a W-2 role as a Stage 4 Solutions employee. Health benefits and 401K are offered.
- Design structural parts assemblies and system installations for aircraft modifications.
- Develop engineering drawings and layouts per aerospace specifications.
- Coordinate with wiring/avionics manufacturing stress tooling and test teams.
- Conduct design reviews manage drawing updates and support production.
- Resolve technical issues related to aircraft structures and systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Aeronautical Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
- 9 years aircraft design/test/support experience.
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 and CCD.
- Experience with C-130 C-5 P-3 or S-3 aircraft.
- Background in modification design and production line support.
