Job Description
Travel RN- Wound Care (Contract Role)
Location: Cambridge MA 02138
Duration: 13-weeks contract
Shift: Day Shift(8) - 8:00 start
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2600 $2800; (Negotiable based on experience)
- Coordinates wound care from referral through follow-up in collaboration with healthcare providers.
- Manages pre-authorizations and patient intake.
- Schedules and facilitates consultations diagnostics and treatments.
- Performs and documents patient assessments; orders labs and diagnostics.
- Educates patients and families on treatment plans and wound care.
- Participates in rounds case reviews and development of educational materials.
- Supports continuous clinical education and quality improvement efforts.
- Leads pressure injury survey initiatives and related safety reporting.
- Maintains mandatory education and licensure; promotes professional growth.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts (Required)
- Certification in Wound Ostomy and Continence Nursing (Preferred)
- 1 3 years of relevant wound care experience (Preferred)
- Proficiency with computer systems and software applications such as Microsoft Office (Outlook Word Excel etc.)
- Experience using electronic medical records systems; EPIC proficiency preferred
- Bachelors degree in Nursing
- Prior experience in a specialty service setting
- EPIC proficiency preferred
