About the Practice
A respected AAHA-accredited small animal practice in Naples offers full-service veterinary care including preventive medicine urgent and emergency services and surgical procedures. Equipped with an in-house pharmacy laboratory diagnostics and advanced imaging the practice focuses on excellence in patient care client relationships and team development.
Position Overview
Were seeking an experienced client-focused Medical Director to provide both clinical leadership and hands-on veterinary care. This role combines high-quality medicine with team mentorship and operational oversight ensuring a thriving collaborative practice.
Schedule & Structure
- Open Monday Saturday: 7:30 am 10:00 pm
- Sundays: 10:00 am 8:00 pm
- 1:1.5-2 DVM-to-technician ratio for strong support
- Flexible allocation of leadership and clinical time
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate high-quality medical care for patients
- Mentor develop and guide the veterinary team
- Partner with practice management to drive operational excellence
- Maintain medical protocols consistent with AAHA standards
- Support recruitment training and performance development for staff
- Lead by example in client communication and case management
Qualifications
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) licensed to practice in Florida
- Leadership or supervisory experience in a veterinary setting preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to balance medical and administrative responsibilities
- Flexible open-minded and collaborative approach
