Job Description
Job Title: Cloud Security Engineer
Location: Chennai / Bengaluru
Experience Required: 8 Years
Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled Cloud Security Engineer with deep expertise in AWS Cloud DevOps practices and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing secure cloud architectures integrating preventive and detective security controls and automating security operations across cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement secure cloud architectures aligned with industry best practices for data protection access control and threat mitigation.

Integrate security controls (preventive and detective) into cloud infrastructure from the initial design phase.

Leverage AWS-native security services such as AWS Security Hub GuardDuty KMS Secrets Manager Config Certificate Manager and AWS Organizations.

Monitor cloud environments for vulnerabilities and security incidents using automated tools and manual techniques.

Respond to security incidents perform forensic analysis and implement remediation strategies (as needed).

Manage AWS IAM roles and policies to ensure secure access to cloud resources.

Automate security processes using Python Shell scripting and other tools for incident response patching and configuration management.

Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform to provision and secure cloud infrastructure.

Design secure network architectures including VPCs subnets and security groups.

Configure network security controls such as firewalls VPNs and ACLs.
Mandatory Skills:

AWS Cloud (hands-on experience)

DevOps methodologies and tools

Terraform (minimum 5 years of experience)

AWS Certification (must have)
Preferred Skills:

Scripting languages: Python Bash

YAML and configuration management

Golang (good to have)
