Job Description
Position Overview
We are seeking a Data Scientist Manager who is not only highly analytical but also an excellent communicator and storyteller. This role is ideal for a Decision Scientist / Consultant with strong product and process management expertise capable of translating complex business problems into actionable insights and data-driven solutions.
We are not looking for Project Managers or Scrum Masters-this is a hands-on insight-driven leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of data scientists to deliver impactful analytical solutions.
- Partner with stakeholders to understand business challenges and translate them into data-driven strategies.
- Apply statistical analysis machine learning and predictive modeling to solve real-world business problems.
- Present findings and recommendations through compelling data storytelling for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to design develop and implement data products and process improvements.
- Ensure data integrity accuracy and security throughout all analytical processes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist Manager or Decision Scientist with consulting experience.
- Strong background in product management and process optimization.
- Excellent storytelling and presentation skills-able to turn data into a persuasive narrative.
- Proficiency in Python R SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau Power BI etc.).
- Experience with machine learning frameworks and statistical modeling.
