Job Description: Catalog Analyst

Company: Randstad India(Payroll company)

Employment Type: 12 months renewable contract

Location: Chennai India (Hybrid Work Model)

Experience: 0-2 Years

Shift: Day Shift (9:00 AM - 6:00 PM)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Catalog Analyst to join our team in Chennai. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity and quality of our product catalog. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to gain valuable experience in e-commerce operations data management and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Integrity & Audits: Conduct regular audits of product data to ensure accuracy completeness and adherence to company catalog standards.

  • Vendor & Supplier Communication: Serve as a point of contact for vendors and suppliers to gather product information resolve data discrepancies and ensure timely submissions.

  • Error Resolution: Proactively identify and correct errors within the product catalog including missing or incorrect product descriptions images and specifications.

  • Performance Metrics: Meet and exceed daily and weekly targets for productivity quality and utilization as defined by the process lead.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams including merchandising technology and customer service to enhance the overall product catalog and resolve issues.

  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of all catalog updates communication with vendors and error resolutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education: Minimum of a Bachelors Degree.

  • Experience: 0-2 years of professional experience in a data-centric or analytical role.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying inconsistencies and errors in large datasets.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is a must.

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external partners.

  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Problem-Solving: A proactive and logical approach to problem-solving.
