Job Title: Mammography Technologist
Location: Fortuna California

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mammography Technologist to join a collaborative imaging team in Northern this role you will perform high-quality mammographic procedures that support early detection and diagnosis. Working alongside a radiologist and breast health team in a patient-focused environment you will ensure accurate imaging while maintaining patient comfort safety and dignity.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform mammographic imaging procedures as ordered by physicians following established clinical protocols.
Operate calibrate and maintain mammography equipment to ensure optimal image quality.
Ensure compliance with MQSA state regulations and Joint Commission standards.
Accurately document patient information and imaging results in accordance with medical record protocols.
Provide compassionate patient-centered care to individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
Participate in quality assurance programs and safety procedures to maintain high clinical standards.
Assist with clerical coordination or scheduling tasks related to imaging services when needed.
Required Qualifications:
Completion of accredited education program to meet licensing requirements.
Valid California Mammographic Radiologic Technologist Certification (required at time of hire).
ARRT Certification in Mammography ARRT(M) (required at time of hire).
Current BLS Certification from the American Heart Association (required at time of hire).
Preferred Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year of professional experience performing mammography procedures.
Knowledge of MQSA compliance standards and best practices.
