Job Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Buyer Analyst to join our procurement team. As a Buyer Analyst you will be responsible for conducting market research analyzing supplier performance and supporting the procurement process. Your insights and recommendations will contribute to the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay informed about market trends.
- Analyze supplier performance including cost quality and delivery metrics.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.
- Prepare and maintain purchase orders and procurement records.
- Track and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and prevent overstock situations.
- Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers considering quality price and reliability.
- Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and explore opportunities for partnerships.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement needs are met.
- Provide regular reports and updates on procurement activities to management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proven experience as a Buyer Analyst Purchasing Analyst or in a similar procurement role.
- Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
- Knowledge of procurement processes vendor management and supply chain principles.
- Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
