Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Buyer Analyst to join our procurement team. As a Buyer Analyst you will be responsible for conducting market research analyzing supplier performance and supporting the procurement process. Your insights and recommendations will contribute to the efficient and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research to identify potential suppliers and stay informed about market trends.
• Analyze supplier performance including cost quality and delivery metrics.
• Collaborate with the procurement team to negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers.
• Prepare and maintain purchase orders and procurement records.
• Track and manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock and prevent overstock situations.
• Assist in the evaluation and selection of suppliers considering quality price and reliability.
• Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers and explore opportunities for partnerships.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure procurement needs are met.
• Provide regular reports and updates on procurement activities to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business Supply Chain Management or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as a Buyer Analyst Purchasing Analyst or in a similar procurement role.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of procurement processes vendor management and supply chain principles.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and tools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
