About this Role
Bitwise is looking for aNetwork Systems Engineer. This position will support one of our government clients in Annapolis Junction MD.Responsibilities will include:
- Use Network Engineering System Administrator and command line Linux skills to maintain a full and robust multi-server network
- Manage the overall operational health of a customer network; must be a self-starter to lead technical efforts across organizations
- Support the design and infrastructure of the network with a future overhaul planned
- Thorough knowledge of Secure the Enterprise (STE)/Secure the Network (STN) Risk Management Framework (RMF) to ensure system compliance
- Create and maintain accounts troubleshooting at all levels
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph. Candidates without a current clearance will not be considered.
- Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development programming information/cyber/network security vulnerability analysis penetration testing computer forensics information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally must have experience in network or system administration.
- Current experience with management of virtualized infrastructure including multi-node and multi-site networks
- Recent experience with Linux and Windows operating systems (command line a must)
- Bachelors degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or Masters degree plus 6 years of relevant experience or an Associates degree plus 10 years of relevant experience or a high school diploma/GED plus 12 years of relevant experience may be considered.
- Degree must be in Network Engineering Systems Engineering Information Technology or related field.

- Experience with CNO
- Development experience helpful but not required

Salary Range
$171000 - $192000 including Flex Income
