Job Description
Job Title: Network Engineer (Onsite)
Location: Lexington MA
Job Type: W2 Contract
Background/Need:
The Group supports the Missile Defense Agency in the development deployment testing and enhancement of the nation s missile defense system. This system is currently being developed to defend the United States deployed forces and allies from missile attacks. This group performs detailed system and component engineering flight and ground test analysis and advanced capability development in collaboration with the contractors and government program offices that are building the missile defense elements and components.
The group has a need for a Network Engineer to contribute to supporting the special networking requirements of multiple projects with local and remote locations manage the group specific networks and collaborate with the Information Services Department on the management of networks.
Must Have:
-Strong understanding of Networking Technologies.
-Cisco Certified Networking Associate - working towards Cisco Certified Networking Professional.
-Experience with configuration and management of CISCO Juniper and Extreme hardware.
-Ability to work well independently as well as with a team.
-Must possess excellent communication skills.
Nice to Have:
-Palo Alto Networks Certified Cybersecurity Associate.
-Experience with COMSEC equipment.
-Ability to quickly troubleshoot and resolve complex networking issues.
-Ability to handle multiple projects and tasks.
Experience: 5 years of relevant work experience.
Clearance: Active Secret Clearance.
