Candidates should have a passion for technology in financial services strong strategic command an engaging executive presence exceptionally strong written and verbal
communication skills expertise in relationship-building and the ability to manage large complex projects with energy and excitement.
Major Responsibilities
- Provide strategic project leadership and ensure alignment across multiple concurrent projects within a matrixed highly complex and regulated environment.
- Develop and implement strategic technical project plans that align with organizational objectives and foster effective cross-functional collaboration.
- Oversee the execution of complex technology projects by managing project resources budgets and timelines while mitigating risks and addressing roadblocks.
- Champion continuous improvement by identifying process optimization opportunities and incorporating best practices.
- Proactively lead risk mitigation efforts by resolving issues through structured problem-solving collaboration and appropriate escalation.
- Clearly communicate project status risks and impacts to stakeholders tailoring messaging to suit different audiences.
- Design develop and manage milestone plans in a dynamic environment adjusting to evolving project requirements.
- Ensure project initiatives are delivered on time and within budget while supporting organizational processes in a dynamic environment.
- Partner cross-functionally with business and partner groups to provide strategic and tactical thought leadership to effectively deliver against project commitments.
- Work with cross-functional teams and influence others to work toward common goals regardless of resource and time constraints.
- Report on project status risks issues and key decisions to stakeholders across the organization; escalate critical concerns as needed.
- Track project-related financials including software hardware and resource allocations.
- Ensure capital investments related to project delivery are managed efficiently and aligned with organizational priorities.
Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science information Technology Computer Engineering Finance or related.
- Masters Degree or MBA is a plus
- 12 years of project management experience leading cross functional programs
- 10 years of experience working in the financial services industry
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Lean Agile or Six Sigma certification preferred.
- Exhibit outstanding influencing skills to effectively drive project efforts.
- Demonstrate a proven track record of excellent project management in a highly regulated environment with the ability to quickly establish structure and manage work in a dynamic complex environment.
- Demonstrate a commitment to collaboration by supporting team development and knowledge sharing
- Excellent communication and partnership skills are essential for engaging with stakeholders at all levels across the organization as well as external partners to manage inform and influence outcomes.
- Ability to understand communicate and manage technical details and dependencies of projects.
- Strong analytical problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
The typical base pay range for this role is between $123K - $157K depending on job-related knowledge skills experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
