Job Description

Job Summary

A part-time research position is available working with Dr. Giacometti in the Barker laboratory at Drexel University College of Medicine in the Department of Pharmacology and Physiology. The applicant will be working on a project investigating hormonal contributions to drug seeking.
Applicants must be comfortable working with mice and performing standard wet lab techniques such as immunofluorescence.

Essential Functions

  • Rodent behavior
  • Standard wetlab techniques
  • Data processing and analysis

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Biology neuroscience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience handling mice and performing wet lab experiments.

Physical Demands

  • Typically sitting at a desk/table
  • Typically standing walking
  • Lifting demands 25lbs

Location

  • Center City - Philadelphia PA

Additional Information

This is a Part-Time temporary position classified as offered pay is based on the successful candidates qualifications and experience departmentbudget and an internal equity review.
