Job Description

Job Title:Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist
Banding:Band 6/7
Location: Wokingham Berkshire
Working hours:Full-time / Part-time
Start date:ASAP
Rate:25 35 per hour
Duration:Academic Year

We are seeking a dedicated Paediatric Community Speech and Language Therapist to join our client in Wokingham. This role is based within an autism-specific primary and secondary school supporting verbal pupils. The position requires availability for one day per week and offers flexibility for both full-time and part-time professionals.

Key Responsibilities

In this role you will assess diagnose and deliver therapy to children with speech language and communication needs specifically within an autism-focused educational setting. You will work collaboratively with school staff and families to develop and implement tailored intervention plans monitor progress and contribute to multi-disciplinary team discussions.

Qualifications and Experience

HCPC registration
Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
Experience working with paediatric caseloads ideally within autism-specialist settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with educational teams and families
