Job Description
What we are looking for:
Catherine McAuley College Mackay seek applications from suitably qualified educators to undertake the acting middle leadership position ofHead of Department (Pastoral Care). This is a new Middle Leader position commencing from 19 January2026 in conjunction with a permanent teaching role at the college.

We seek passionate leaders who will strive for excellence in teaching administration professional conduct relationships with parents and the wider school community and a genuine interest for young people and their learning.
Successful applicants will be able to demonstrate:

Catherine McAuley Collegeopened its doors in 2022 in order to meet the growing demand for a quality Catholic Education in the Mackay with pioneering Year 7s in 2022 they will grow into a complete Years 7 to 12 profile by 2027.

Mandatory Requirements
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration
