We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Project Manager to join our corporate Program Management Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and delivering Information Technology projects that support and enhance our corporate transportation and logistics programs. This role requires an agile mindset strong leadership and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality impactful technology solutions. The experienced Sr Project Manager manages key internal and customer-related projects.
Hybrid role located in the Channelside area of Tampa Bay. Only candidates in the Tampa Bay Area will be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of IT projects from initiation to closure ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Agile Management: Apply agile principles and methodologies to project planning execution and delivery.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with business stakeholders IT teams and external vendors to define project scope gather requirements and manage expectations. Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify assess and mitigate project risks and issues. Develop contingency plans and escalate critical issues to leadership as needed.
- Budget and Resource Management: Create and manage project budgets allocate resources effectively and track project performance against key metrics.
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and tools ensuring the team operates efficiently and effectively.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans status reports and technical specifications.
Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Business Administration or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Project Management related certification(s) are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management with a strong focus on IT projects.
- Proven experience working in an agile environment.
- Experience in the transportation logistics or related industry is a plus.
- Proven track record of ensuring that projects adhered to scope schedule and budget
- Ability to analyze project status and when necessary revise the scope schedule or budget to ensure that project requirements can be met.
- Exceptional leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with project management software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Travel required approximately 25% travel.
