We are looking for a Tracy Yard Hostler CDL reporting out of Tracy CA who relishes the chance to push their potential grow and reap the rewards of joining the US FOODS family. Pay starts at $30.00 per hour.

Main Ingredients of the Job!
As a US FOODS Yard Hostler at our Tracy CA yard you will:
Communicate with Dispatcher/Router for truck trailer and door assignments
Keep assigned equipment coupled and ready for movement
Move trailers between buildings as directed by Router or Warehouse Supervisor
Load unload or merge loads between dock and yard environments
Stage shuttle trailers nightly for shuttle drivers
Set up trailers for backhaul with tractor and empty pallets placing them at the correct door for unloading
Ensure all equipment is paired and prepped for the next days deliveries
Work with mechanics nightly to report and resolve equipment issues
Attend all required company meetings and complete other duties as assigned
Schedule: SundayThursday; start time approximately 10:00 AM12:00 PM

What you bring to the table:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Valid CDL A issued by your state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT-qualified
Registered with the FMCSA Clearinghouse* (per Federal requirement)
Minimum six months of commercial driving experience preferred
Ability to operate manual transmission preferred (may be required at specific locations)
