Summary - Quality Assurance Engineer
Medical Device/Military Grade
Ensures compliance with standards identify issues recommend solutions and create quality documentation.
Job Duties:
-Interface with supplier and customer quality representatives regarding quality issues and assure that effective corrective action is implemented.
-Perform supplier audits.
-Collaborate with team as necessary in performing and generating 5 Core Tools (APQP PPAP PFEMA CP SPC MSA)
-Generate document and submit FAIR.
-Support concurrent engineering efforts by participating in design development projects as needed representing quality assurance and the customer.
-Serve as the primary quality assurance resource for problem identification resolution loss reporting validation and continuous improvement.
-Review suppliers purchase orders and establish supplier quality requirements.
-Compile write and deliver training material on quality standards and activities if necessary.
Requirements:
-Bachelors degree in engineering or related field (desired).
-Ability to solve routine design and engineering tasks with some assistance.
-Basic understanding of engineering and mathematics principles.
-Understand interpretation of drawings specifications blueprints etc.
-Change Control
-Strong analytical problem solving and teamwork skills.

-Excellent time management prioritization abilities and strong project management skills
-Ability to develop and implement strategies.
-Ability to work with and manage complexity/change.

-Familiar with SPC Six Sigma Process Capability Study
-Experience with Continuous improvement
-Ability to use MS Office Tools such as Word Excel SAP and MiniTab.
-Confidence and ability to make recommendations as needed.
