  • Level I: $80200 - $112300

  • Level II: $118200 - $165500

Anticipated Hiring Range:

  • Level I: $80200 - $96250

  • Level II: $118200 - $141850

Job Summary:

The Assistant City Attorney I or II will primarily serve as a municipal court prosecutor and handle municipal court litigation and this role the attorney is responsible for prosecuting criminal violations of the Citys Municipal Code in municipal court. The attorney is also responsible for representing the City in administrative proceedings including those before the Citys Administrative Hearing Officer as well as before the local liquor licensing authority. The attorney may also provide legal advice regarding municipal matters to various City departments and may also act as counsel to City boards and commissions as necessary.
