The Stanford University Graduate School of Education seeks an early career (assistant or associate) tenure-track faculty member who will teach courses in education data science and statistics and whose research develops and/or applies cutting edge data science and statistical methods to the study of education. We invite applications from candidates in a variety of academic disciplines who make use of statistical and computational techniques for analysis of large volumes of data describing educational systems or processes. A strong preference will be given to applicants who are familiar with the full data science research pipeline and with multimodal data and who use state-of-the-art computational methodologies to drive discovery and address problems in education.
The successful candidate will show a generative line of research in education data science and contribute to teaching and advising doctoral and masters students in the Graduate School of Education.
Ph.D./Ed.D. or enrollment in a Ph.D./Ed.D. program with anticipated degree conferral by the time of appointment is required.
