Job Description

Responsibilitiesinclude (But Are Not Necessarily Limited To):
- Track and update documentation to align with agency delivery frameworks.
- Collaborate with system administrators and developers to implement corrective actions.
- Conduct risk assessments document Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&MS) and track remediation of security gaps.
- Ensure team members complete and adhere to security awareness and training.
- Serve as liaison between technical teams and cybersecurity teams for security-related issues.
- Bachelors degree in computer science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years in cybersecurity or information assurance preferably in a federal environment.
- Familiarity with AWS security best practices (e.g. IAM KMS encryption logging).
- Knowledge of vulnerability management endpoint protection and access control mechanisms.
- Ability to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Must have active or ability to obtain IRS MBI clearance.
