Position Summary
Are you ready to make an impact in a dynamic packaging technology role This position offers the chance to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams drive innovation and ensure the smooth delivery of packaging solutions in a fast-paced production environment. Responsibilities
In this role you will:
1. Provide day-to-day technical support to packaging operations troubleshooting equipment and process issues.
2. Lead and support packaging design changes including new product introductions material changes and equipment upgrades.
3. Coordinate and execute packaging trials ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
4. Develop and maintain packaging specifications drawings and Bills of Material.
5. Collaborate with suppliers to assess and qualify packaging materials and resolve technical issues.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance packaging efficiency quality and sustainability.
Qualifications/Skills
Basic Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates with:
- A degree in engineering packaging or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Knowledge of packaging materials and processes (e.g. plastics glass board adhesives).
- Experience in a regulated manufacturing environment ideally pharmaceutical or similar.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word Excel Teams).
Preferred Qualifications:
Its a plus if you have:
- Experience with packaging design and validation processes.
- Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory requirements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across teams.
- An innovative mindset and a drive for continuous improvement.
Manufacturing at the Worthing site is for antibiotics. It is advised that you take this into consideration when deciding to apply for this position. We cannot accept applications from individuals that have an allergy to penicillin due to Health and Safety.
