Role Definition

Caterpillar is seeking a Human Resources Business Partner for an exciting role based in Mossville IL. Joining this Caterpillar Technology organization will provide you the ability to create a critically positive impact on the organization with an innovative this role you will act as the strategic liaison between HR and the business who implements HR strategies aligned with business objectives provides guidance on HR policies and practices and fosters a culture of employee engagement and development. What You Will Do:

• Collaborating with management as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organizations strategic goals and objectives.
• Acting as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers on HR-related matters including performance management compensation and benefits etc.
• Proven ability to challenge the norm and conduct unique critical thinking for new strategies while still adhering to proper policies and procedures.
• Aligning HR policies and programs for their business unit or region which promote employee engagement retention and performance.
• Ability to pull data and make necessary decisions and influence based on the analysis.
• Analyzing HR metrics and data to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
• Work with global HR partners and process owners.

What You Have:

• Business Acumen: Knowledge of business concepts tools and processes that are needed for making sound decisions in the context of the companys business; ability to apply this knowledge appropriately to diverse situations.
• Knowledge of Organization: Knowledge of the organizations vision structure culture philosophy operating principles values and code of ethics; ability to understand the value of aligning capabilities with business goals to support optimal performance.
• Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
• Influencing: Knowledge of effective influencing tactics and strategies; ability to impact decisions within and outside own organization.
• Employee Relations: Knowledge of the rights and obligations in the employee relations; ability to adhere to legal requirements when handling employee negotiations.
• HR: Policies Standards and Procedures: Knowledge of human resource function; ability to uphold the organizations and industrys standards procedures and policies regarding human resources management.

Top Candidates will also have:

• Previous experience leading and executing HR projects across global regions.
• Previous HR Business Partnering Experience.
• Strong communication and prioritization skills.
• Outstanding judgment and creative problem-solving skills.

Additional Information:

• Locations: Primary location: Mossville IL.
• This is a fully onsite role Monday to Friday in office.
• To support a Global Business there may be a requirement to travel up to 15%.
• Sponsorship will not be offered.

Summary Pay Range:
