The Fiduciary Manager is responsible for a wide range of activities related to the operation and administration of the Public Fiduciary office including ensuring proper administration of internal legal processing investigations guardianship conservatorship and probate cases as well as compliance training strategic planning implementation of policy and procedure and general administration.
**Pre-licensed Fiduciaries work under the supervision of a licensed Fiduciary or designated principal to gain knowledge and expertise during the pre-licensing period. This supervision allows pre-licensed Fiduciaries to increase responsibilities over time and fosters the necessary professional development needed to meet licensure eligibility requirements.
** Successful applicants not currently holding an Arizona Fiduciary License will be compensated at a salary rate equivalent to 97% of the rate determined to be appropriate based on the applicants experience. A 3% increase will be awarded once licensure has been successfully obtained.

We Require
- Three years of related professional fiduciary experience such as administration of guardianships conservatorships or managing caseloads pertaining to meeting the personal and financial needs of clients or related investigative work
- Two years of supervisory experience
- Bachelors degree with a specialization in Social Services Behavioral Science Public or Business Administration Criminal Justice or a closely related field
- A combination of post-secondary education and job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
NOTE: This education and experiencemustrelate to guardianships conservatorships decedents estates property management entitlements social or mental health work finance accounting investigations bank trust work or paralegal work with an emphasis on probate practices and procedures.

Job Contributions
- Performscomprehensive research and analysis on complex departmental issues prepares reports and provides recommendations to the department management team. This includes collecting data in accordance with the statutory requirements and determining the best course of action for all updates and improvements
- Conducts audits to ensure that the department remains in compliance with established objectives policies state and federal law and administrative orders by monitoring the completion of all mandated reports using the departments case management system to view work productivity
- Plans and develops projects in line with the departments overall goals and mission
- Supervises professional and/or support staff. Coaches and counsels staff by providing oversight performance management determining work priorities and schedules. Engages in all aspects of supervisory responsibilities recruiting onboarding training developing disciplining and reviewing employees timecards
- Interacts with attorneys courts interested parties and any other agencies involved with the department and the clients served
- Servesas the department liaison collaborating with multiple county organizations such as Human Resources Finance Enterprise Technology Equipment Services and outside parties such as the courts approved vendors after-hours answering service and several more on a variety of matters
- Provides a training calendar weekly exam preparation training and quarterly all-staff training
- Establishes and maintains ongoing Continued Education Credits (CEUs) for the department to ensure continuity of the fiduciary services in accordance with certification and licensing standards set by the Arizona Supreme Court
- Resolves complex and sensitive work issues by participating in strategic planning
Working Conditions
- Mustmeet the eligibility requirements pursuant to the Arizona Code of Judicial Administration (ACJA 7-202) and obtainanArizona Fiduciary License within 24 months of hire and thereafter must maintain that license in good standing
- Must possess a valid Arizona drivers license or obtain one by the time of hire
- Work is performed in an indoor office environment serving an extremely fast-paced fiduciary business. Interruptions time pressures a high volume of work handling multiple or complicated tasks unscheduled and frequently changing tasks accuracy decision making concentration vigilance teamwork workingin close proximity toothers and public contact may be constant occurrences
- May be required tolift upto 40 pounds floor to the waist and up to 30 pounds waist to the shoulder
- May be required to carry push/pull up to 10 poundsa distance of 20 feet
