Roles & Responsibilities:

The IT Configuration Manager will be responsible for enabling the CI Owners to update Configuration Items and related information as well as providing architecture process training and auditing services to the Global IT user community to main the CMDB data quality & integrity.
Identify and handle CI classes CI attributes and relationships within the CMDB and Control the receipt identification storage and withdrawal of all supported CIs
Create update and maintain Configuration Items the relationships and interdependencies in collaboration with CI owners.
Expand the functionality scope and accuracy of the CMDB by analyzing the feedback from operations staff and implementing various quality reports
In Charge of providing support for the CMDB operations by handling the CMDB queue for all CI related requests and tasks within SLA and with customer centric approach.
Drive auditing validating status accounting and reporting on CMDB activities (goals and breakthroughs and Metric reporting)
Cross collaboration with other processes (Incident Change Problem etc.) and help them with better delivery in the areas.
Acts as a highly motivated & engaged employee!
Required Skills & Experience:
5 years of CMDB operational experience in a large environment
2 years experience performing Application and Service Mapping
2 Experience with ServiceNow tool and ability to run reports & queries
Understanding and hands on experience of ServiceNow discovery for servers (hardware extended) network (network extended) printers database instances and web applications.
Understanding of Data Reconciliation & IRE
Experience with and knowledge of the ITIL framework as well as ITSM
Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office products (Word Excel)
Good analytical and problem-solving skills
Demonstrates excellence in customer service teaming verbal and written communication & presentation skills !
Ability to prioritize and multi task.
Academic Qualification :
Bachelor degree in Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications / Certifications :
ITIL Foundation Certification or experience with implementing IT Service Management processes
Certified ServiceNow Administrator
CSDM Knowledge / Training
