What youll do
Youll Have
Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management Industrial Engineering Business Administration or a related field or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a material handling logistics or manufacturing operations role preferably within the automotive industry.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in SAP or equivalent ERP/MRP system planning role and/or as business users.
Proficiency with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) Powered Vehicle Handling Equipment (PMHV) and Warehouse Management Systems (EWM).
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
Even better youll have
Relevant certifications (e.g. OSHA certification Lean Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt) are highly desirable.
Strong understanding and practical application of Lean Manufacturing principles continuous improvement tools (e.g. Kaizen 5S Value Stream Mapping) and KPI management.
In-depth knowledge of occupational safety standards (e.g. OSHA) and experience implementing safety programs.
Results-Oriented: A strong drive to achieve and exceed goals with a focus on measurable outcomes.
Leadership & Coaching: Proven ability to lead motivate coach and develop a diverse team.
Continuous Improvement Mindset: Passionate about identifying and implementing improvements; proficient in Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
Problem-Solver: Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to identify root causes and develop effective solutions.
Excellent Communicator: Clear concise and effective verbal written and presentation skills capable of engaging audiences at all levels.

This role will start remote and then will be working hybrid out of Marshall MI with the expectation to be on-site at Marshall once building construction and timing is established (relocation package available).
Once your employment with Ford commences you will be assigned to BlueOval Battery Michigan LLC. You will continue to be employed by Ford Motor Company but work at BlueOval Battery Michigan Fords wholly owned subsidiary located in Marshall Michigan. You will remain an at-will employee at all times during your employment with Ford or any Ford affiliate or subsidiary with which you later become employed.

This position is a salary grade 8.
