Job Description

About the Role
As a Financial Controller you will play an important role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. Your responsibilities will include participating in monthly quarterly and annual closing processes assisting with budgeting and forecasting and ensuring compliance with Finnish and international accounting principles (FAS IFRS). You will also contribute to process improvements and other ad-hoc tasks.
What we are looking for
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Finance Accounting or related field
- Knowledge of accounting (group accounting FAS IFRS)
- Strong MS Excel skills
- Relevant work experience in finance or accounting
- Fluent in Finnish and English both written and spoken
- Detail-oriented accurate and systematic in your work
- Capable of working under pressure and meeting tight deadlines
- Strong team player with good collaboration skills
Additionally we value
- Experience with ERP systems especially NetSuite
- ACCA student status or other relevant professional qualifications in progress
- Strong IFRS knowledge and interest in deepening it further
- Interest in tax matters and their interaction with financial reporting
