Job Description
Travel- RN Operating Room (Contract Role)
Job Details:
- Location: Utica NY 13502
- Duration: 13-weeks contract
- Shift: 10-hr Days 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2320 $2480; (Negotiable based on experience)
- Assist in surgical procedures as a circulating or scrub nurse
- Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and surgical techs to ensure safe patient care
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure all necessary equipment and supplies are available and sterile
- Monitor patient status pre- intra- and post-operatively
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in EPIC EMR
- Follow strict aseptic and sterile techniques
- Respond quickly and effectively to emergency situations
- Educate patients and families on surgical procedures and post-op care when appropriate
- Participate in performance improvement and quality assurance initiatives
- Ensure compliance with all hospital state and federal guidelines
- Experience: 2 years of experience as a OR RN and documents travel experience Required
- Trauma and Neuro experience Required.
- EPIC EMR experience Required.
- License: Current and Active RN license in New York Required.
- Certifications: AHA BLS Required. PALS (preferred).
