Job Description
Manager Notes:
- This position can be remote but the hiring manager will take preference on candidates who are local and/or willing to relocate to WHQ.
- This position is heavily focusing on the front-end UI. Must have 5 YOE building modern responsive and scalable web applications.
- Technologies: React Tailwind CSS/Emotion CSS MongoDB JavaScript and TypeScript.
- Nice to Have; Server-side rendering () testing frameworks and Agile background.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Software Engineer with a strong focus on User Interface Development and full stack capabilities. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience building modern responsive and scalable web applications. Youll work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement intuitive user experiences and robust backend services.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design develop and maintain responsive web applications using React and modern CSS frameworks like Tailwind CSS or Emotion CSS.
- Build and maintain scalable backend services using and MongoDB.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers product managers and other engineers to deliver high-quality features.
- Write clean maintainable and well-tested code.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices.
- Optimize applications for performance scalability and accessibility.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING
- 5 years of professional experience in software engineering with a focus on front-end development.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and component-based architecture.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS Emotion CSS or similar styling frameworks.
- Solid understanding of and building RESTful APIs.
- Experience working with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g. Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
PREFERRED:
- Experience with server-side rendering (e.g. ).
- Familiarity with testing frameworks
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
