Job Description
- Participate as a member of the ET Trading Technology application development team
- Design develop and support APIs for E*TRADE client applications focusing on building large-scale high-performance systems.
- Deliver innovative technology solutions for critical client-facing applications and high-profile customers.
- Ensure application design considers performance usability user experience and security best practices.
- Leverage strong programming skills in Java Spring Boot TypeScript JavaScript Kafka and ActiveMQ.
- Utilize expertise in cloud platforms (AWS Azure) containerization (Kubernetes Docker) and database technologies (MySQL NoSQL MongoDB Cassandra).
- Collaborate using version control tools (GIT Bitbucket) and contribute to both independent and team-based projects.
- Apply analytical and problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex technical issues and develop effective solutions.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- (Preferred) Apply background knowledge in financial technology and data to enhance application features and functionality.
- (Preferred) Contribute to building microservices and APIs using modern frameworks and languages.
