Job Description

We require a dynamic and professional Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our Food and Beverage team on a Part Time basis at Oaks Melbourne on Market Hotel. 

This position will predominantly be required to work evening shifts and the successful candidate will also need to be available to work weekends as required. 

As the Food and Beverage Supervisor you will: 

  • Ensure smooth and efficient daily floor operations of the restaurant and bar
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the companys food and beverage features to promote to clients.
  • Liaise with the kitchen during service periods to ensure quality service and presentation.
  • Supervise train and assist Food & Beverage Attendants.

Qualifications :

To be a success in this position you will have:

  • 12 months supervisory experience gained in a similar role
  • 3 years experience working within a restaurant or hotel environment
  • Solid understanding of alcohol (preferred but not essential)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and an unwavering positive attitude.
  • A high level of self-motivation and confidence.
  • Diploma in Hospitality Management or similar (preferred but not essential)
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends
