What Youll Do
Electrical Systems Leadership & Power Management
- Supervise and optimize all electrical systems including high-capacity generators switchgear motors and advanced control panels
- Oversee sophisticated power distribution systems and strategic load management for maximum efficiency
- Maintain critical drilling equipment electrical systems including draw works rotary table mud pumps and BOP controls
- Ensure seamless operation of lighting navigation communication systems and emergency power backup infrastructure
Strategic Maintenance & Technical Innovation
- Develop and implement comprehensive preventive maintenance programs for all electrical equipment
- Lead complex electrical fault diagnosis and repair across drilling and auxiliary equipment systems
- Coordinate major electrical installations equipment replacements and system modifications
- Manage critical electrical spare parts inventory procurement strategies and emergency response protocols
Safety Excellence & Regulatory Compliance
- Champion electrical safety standards and regulatory compliance across all operations
- Conduct thorough electrical safety inspections hazard assessments and risk mitigation strategies
- Implement robust lockout/tagout procedures and maintain electrical permits and certification documentation
- Drive electrical safety training programs and emergency response preparedness initiatives
Team Leadership & Development
- Supervise mentor and develop assistant electricians and electrical technicians
- Coordinate electrical operations with drilling mechanical and operations departments
- Lead electrical safety meetings advanced training sessions and skills development programs
- Manage work schedules assignments and performance optimization for electrical crews
Documentation Excellence & Performance Analytics
- Maintain comprehensive electrical maintenance logs system reports and performance analytics
- Document equipment modifications repairs and system upgrades for regulatory compliance
- Update electrical drawings schematics and technical documentation
- Track equipment performance metrics and implement reliability improvement strategies

Requirements
Who You Are
- 5-7 years of proven industrial electrical experience with demonstrated offshore/marine expertise
- Valid electrician license with high voltage certification (up to 11kV/15kV)
- Current offshore survival certification (BOSIET/HUET) and valid medical certificate for offshore work
- Electrical safety certifications including arc flash protection and confined space qualifications
What You Bring
- Technical Mastery: Extensive knowledge of AC/DC electrical systems power distribution and high-voltage operations
- Systems Expertise: Advanced proficiency in motor control systems VFDs PLCs and diesel generator operations
- Standards Knowledge: Deep understanding of marine/offshore electrical standards (IEC API DNV)
- Digital Fluency: Experience with drilling control systems automation SCADA systems and industrial networks
Specialized Skills Youll Apply
- Power Management: Expertise with diesel generators (1MW capacity) and sophisticated power distribution systems
