The Continuous Improvement Leader - Danaher Business System is responsible for improving organizational performance by driving continuous improvement in Quality by using Danaher Business System (DBS) and working with DBS Leaders (DBSLs) to identify improvement opportunities and implement countermeasures to drive reduction in waste cost on time delivery and drive lean manufacturing processes.
This position reports to the VP of Quality and Regulatory Affairs and is part of the Quality organization located in Fargo North Dakota and will be an on-site role.
In this role you will have the opportunity to:
Lead through influence and partner with functional leaders to identify prioritize and select improvement priorities needed to achieve performance objectives.
Leverage and continuously improve the Kaizen Funnel Process to prioritize schedule resource plan and drive 80% sustainment of Kaizen and PSP events.
Drive targeted sustainable improvement in QDCI (Quality Delivery Cost and Innovation) that is tied to Policy Deployment (PD) and Daily Management (DM) by leveraging DBS tools and skillfully facilitating workshops trainings and Kaizen events.
Work with the DBSO (Danaher Business System Office) to schedule events align on new tools to advance DBS across Qualityand collaborate with other DBS leaders to ensure alignment of cross-functional processes involving Operations.
Strategically drive long term DBS muscle development of all leaders and team members within the functional teams you support and across Aldevron.
The essential requirements of the job include:
Bachelors degree with preference for 7 years of experience including using continuous improvement/lean tools.
Ability to build cross functional relationships and lead through influence to increase the usage of DBS/continuous improvement tools to achieve functional targets.
Strong background in DBS continuous improvement or operational excellence fundamentals with a proven track record to drive change and deliver results.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with business partners across all levels of the organization to include training and presentation.
Travel Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:
Ability to travel occasionally per business needs
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
Hands-on experience leading deployment of DBS tools: VSM SW TPI 5S PSP VM/DM VPM or DSS preferred.
Certified Practitioner (CP) in one or more Lean tools preferred.
