Purpose/General Summary: During this 10-week summer internship you will use your unique perspective and knowledge to help us find operational gaps and improve process efficiency in a way that makes a genuine mark on our business. Responsibilities:

  • Will provide support to the maintenance team.
  • Help the team that engages in maintaining and repairing equipment structures utility systems buildings and grounds.
  • May help establish and maintain preventive maintenance programs and procedures for plant equipment.
  • Learn from the team that maintains production equipment in a manner that meets organization standards and ensures minimum equipment downtime. Requisitions tools equipment and supplies.
  • Shadow training programs to ensure proper operations preventive maintenance and repairequipmentprograms and procedures; all while adhering to the highest safety expectations.
  • Complete and present a project related to issues within the maintenance department.

Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in four-year university or pursuing a bachelors degree
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation:

- $21/hour with $2500 relocation stipend

The Company is dedicated to ensuring a safe and secure environment for our team members and visitors. To assist in achieving that goal we conduct a drug alcohol and background checks for all new team members post-offer and prior to the start of employment. The Immigration Reform and Control Act requires that verification of employment eligibility be documented for all new employees by the end of the third day of work.
