Division: Group Technology Services (GTS)
Your Role
As a Windows Care Engineer you will provide 2nd and 3rd level support for Windows servers (and later) in a complex and hybrid infrastructure.
Your Responsibilities
As a Windows Care Engineer you will:
- Handle requests incidents problems and changes across both Production and Non-Production environments
- Manage network shares backups restores and related infrastructure components
- Contribute to strategic infrastructure projects and roadmap planning
- Apply Microsoft security patches using Ansible and other automation tools
- Provide support during business hours (08:0018:00 CET)
- Participate in on-call support outside business hours for Production systems (Watch Duty rotation)
- Weekend work as part of a scheduled rotation
Technical Requirements
- Proficiency in PowerShell; knowledge of Ansible is an additional asset
- Experience with Windows Server () in virtualized environments (e.g. VMware)
- Solid understanding of Group Policy File Servers Active Directory Networker Cohesity DNS NAS and SAN
- Familiarity with clustering solutions (e.g. Failover Cluster Always On) and server hardware (e.g. HP Vblock)
- Good understanding of TCP/IP networking fundamentals
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code practices
- Fluency in English both written and spoken
