Job Title: Technical Project Leader

Reports To: Head of Engineering

Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled Technical Project Leader to lead end-to-end software project delivery while providing architectural oversight and ensuring technical excellence. This hybrid role requires hands-on technical leadership combined with strong project management capabilities to deliver scalable and high-quality software solutions on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Management
Lead the planning execution and delivery of complex software projects.
Define project scope milestones and resource allocation.
Manage cross-functional teams including developers QA DevOps and business stakeholders.
Monitor project performance mitigate risks and resolve issues.
Maintain project documentation and ensure transparency with regular progress updates.
Technical Architecture
Design and review system architecture aligned with business goals and scalability requirements.
Make critical decisions regarding technology stack design patterns and third-party integrations.
Guide teams in adopting engineering best practices coding standards and design principles.
Review and approve technical specifications solution architecture and design documents.
Team & Stakeholder Collaboration
Act as the technical point of contact between business stakeholders and engineering teams.
Facilitate requirements gathering solutioning sessions and architecture reviews.
Mentor developers and junior architects on system design technical decisions and career growth.
Collaborate with product managers to translate business needs into technical deliverables.
Qualifications:
Must Have
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field.
8 years of experience in software development with at least 3 years in technical leadership or architecture roles.
3 years of experience in project management using Agile/Scrum or hybrid methodologies.
Proven experience designing distributed systems APIs microservices and cloud-native applications.
Hands-on experience with Microservices architecture Next React GCP Docker Kubernetes.
Proficiency in project management tools like Jira Confluence or equivalents.
Nice to Have
Project Management Certification (PMP PMI-ACP or similar).
Architecture Certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect TOGAF etc.).
Experience in DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
Soft Skills:
Strong leadership communication and negotiation skills.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Ability to balance business goals with technical constraints.
High level of accountability and ownership.
