Litigation Associate Attorney
Location: Dallas TX
Compensation: $365000 $420000 (DOE) Performance-Based Bonus
Overview:
Our client a leading law firm with a broad and innovative litigation practice is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its Dallas litigation team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in state and federal litigation and the ability to work across multiple practice areas in a fast-paced high-caliber environment.
Practice Areas:
Our litigation group handles a wide spectrum of matters including:

Oil & Gas / Energy

Fiduciary Litigation

Employment Law

Privacy and Data Security

Antitrust
-
Securities Litigation
Key Responsibilities:

Research and draft motions briefs and other pleadings for state and federal court matters.

Participate in all aspects of discovery including written discovery depositions and document review.

Assist with case and client management ensuring responsive high-quality service.

Contribute to trial preparation including drafting trial briefs preparing witnesses and developing case strategy.

Engage in courtroom advocacy at hearings and where applicable trials.
Preferred Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in Texas or eligible for waiver
- Law school class years 2018-2020.
District court or appellate court clerkship experience preferred but not required.

Strong research writing and analytical skills.

Deposition hearing and trial experience are beneficial.
