Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the installation commissioning and complex troubleshooting of custom automation machinery at client sites.
• Conduct advanced diagnostics on mechanical electrical pneumatic hydraulic and industrial control systems (PLCs HMIs servos VFDs).
• Provide expert-level technical guidance and mentorship to junior mechanics and field service personnel.
• Perform root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement long-term corrective actions.
• Collaborate closely with engineering project management and sales teams to resolve critical issues and improve product reliability.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive training to client maintenance and operational staff.
• Manage on-site project timelines resources and ensure strict adherence to quality and safety standards.
• Prepare detailed and insightful service reports documenting complex issues and resolutions.

Recommended Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology Mechatronics or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and 5 years of progressive experience.
• 5 years of experience as a senior industrial mechanic automation technician or field service engineer with a focus on complex machinery.
• Expert-level proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical pneumatic hydraulic schematics and mechanical assembly drawings.
• In-depth knowledge of industrial control systems including advanced PLC diagnostics (Allen-Bradley Siemens) servo drives and HMI applications.
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects manage priorities and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional problem-solving analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Valid drivers license and the ability to travel extensively (up to 75-80% including frequent overnight and extended stays).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with industrial robotics (programming troubleshooting integration).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of positive client interaction and relationship building.
• Prior experience in a supervisory or team lead role.
