This prestigious domestic and international law firm is known for its expertise in corporate law litigation and regulatory matters. With offices across the U.S. Europe and Asia the firm specializes in areas such as antitrust financial services compliance corporate governance and dispute resolution. Requirements:
Candidate will have the following: Minimum 3 years of experience engaged in employment litigation within a major law firm setting (experience will be current or very recent) ; Experience with employment counseling and conventional labor matters.
Stellar academic credentials (Law Review and/or Moot Court accolades desired) ; Strong research verbal & written communication skills required ; California Bar.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Handling and managing employment litigation matters and administrative charges.
- Taking and defending depositions in employment-litigation matters.
- Preparing dispositive motions.
- Supporting the team by performing work on other matters as needed.
- Assisting in providing day-to-day employment and counseling for clients.
- Reviewing analyzing and drafting employment agreements employee handbooks severance agreements and other employment documents.
