Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting activities including journal entries reconciliations and general ledger oversight for active tours and events.
- Support monthly/quarterly close processes ensuring timely and accurate revenue recognition and expense reporting.
- Track and analyze tour budgets vs. actuals; provide variance reporting and insights to management and artist reps.
- Coordinate with tour managers and finance leadership to align on financial processes.
- Monitor accounts payable/receivable and support cash flow tracking for individual tours.
- Assist with audit preparation tax support and ongoing internal controls.
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field.
- 24 years of general ledger accounting experience for Staff; 46 years for Senior.
- Background in live events music entertainment or media accounting a plus
- Comfortable working with accounting software (e.g. NetSuite QuickBooks); Excel proficiency required.
- Highly organized detail-oriented and deadline-driven.
- Passion for the music industry and touring culture is welcomed.
Required Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status
Ability to work in the US with no need for sponsorship now or in the future.
