About the Role
An exciting opportunity currently exists for either a Registered Nurse and/or Enrolled Nurse to join the rehabilitation team. Under the guidance of the Nurse Unit Manager or delegate you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality patient care within the team environment.
Demonstrate a Person Care Approach in all aspects of daily nursing practice
Identify patient risks and respond appropriately for a positive outcome
Liaise with patient patients family medical and ancillary staff as required
Actively participate and contribute to all quality improvements including monthly audits
Mentor and preceptor new staff nursing graduates and undergraduates
Classifications for the EN position will range from IB68 - IB72 ($66856 - $71141 per annum pro rata).
Your Contribution
You will be a passionate motivated Nurse who enjoys variety in their work and are excited by the prospect of growing as a professional through developing your clinical skills and knowledge. Your strong interpersonal skills will see you work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. You understand and are interested in the complex and varied needs of our patient population and driven to provide the best care possible.
You will also have:
Current condition free registration with AHPRA
Demonstrated knowledge and experience in general nursing
Current National criminal history check or willing to obtain

About the Department
The Rehabilitation Unit Kew is a 20 bed unit specializing in the care of patients who are recovering from orthopedic muscoskeletal and neurological conditions/injuries. Care and discharge planning is provided by an inter-disciplinary team which includes the nursing team located at St Georges Health Service in Kew.
