The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly analytical and strategic Manager Operations Strategy to join our Operations team at a critical moment of scale. Over the next two years we plan to double the number of devices deployed in the field double our in-field workforce and launch multiple new product linesmaking this role central to shaping and enabling our future growth.

You will work closely with operations leadership and cross-functional teams to define and track the metrics that guide performance while also leading open-ended initiatives to unlock scale and efficiency across our expanding organization. This is a unique opportunity for a rising strategic leader to build and implement scalable processes that will support rapid expansion and increased operational complexity.

The Skillset

  • 35 years of experience in management consulting corporate strategy or operational excellence roles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; high proficiency in Excel and data tools (e.g. SQL BI platforms).

  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills.

  • Ability to thrive in ambiguity and drive clarity in open-ended projects.

  • Experience in a technology company or high-growth startup.

  • Exposure to supply chain logistics manufacturing or field operations environments.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems or workforce management platforms

90 Days at Flock

We are a results-oriented culture and believe job descriptions are a thing of the past. We prescribe to 90 day plans and believe that good days lead to good weeks which lead to good months. This serves as a preview of the 90 day plan you will receive if you were to be hired in this role at Flock Safety.

The First 30 Days

  • Understand the companys two-year growth roadmapincluding device deployment targets workforce expansion plans and product launch timelines.

  • Review current operational dashboards and processes related to tracking field devices workforce deployment and product readiness.

  • Begin to assess gaps and scalability challenges in current tracking and strategic planning.

The First 60 Days

  • Begin managing core operational dashboards that monitor scale-related KPIsdevice deployment velocity field team productivity and product ramp-up readiness.

  • Take ownership of at least one strategic initiative

  • Partner with the Field and People teams to build models that support doubling workforce goals while maintaining quality and efficiency.

90 Days & Beyond

  • Launch or scale up new operational processes that support long-term growth (e.g. device tracking automation onboarding workflows workforce planning frameworks).

  • Facilitate alignment sessions between cross-functional teams around product readiness and workforce deployment.

  • Formalize a 612 month roadmap of strategic operations support for doubling devices and workforce scale.

The Interview Process

  1. Our First Chat: During this first conversation youll meet with a recruiter to chat through your background what you could bring to Flock what you are looking for in your next role and who we are.

  2. The Hiring Manager Interview: You will meet with your potential future boss to really dive into the role the team expectations and what success means at Flock. This is your chance to really nerd out with someone in your field.

  3. The Panel: Learn more about the team responsibilities and workflows. You should be prepared to speak about past projects how you collaborate and communicate with others and how you live our values. Depending on the team and role you are interviewing for you may meet with several teammates as well as cross-functional partners.

  4. The Technical Assessment: Our technical assessments seek to test the hard skills required to do the job. Engineers may find themselves in coding interviews or architecture discussions sales roles may present mock discovery calls and leadership roles may craft 90 day plans. Your recruiter will inform you of which assessment you will be assigned and ensure you are fully prepared for your big day.

Salary & Equity

In this role youll receive a starting salary between $and $165000 as well as Flock Safety Stock Options.

At Flock Safety we compensate our employees fairly for their work. Base salary is determined by job-related experience education/training as well as market indicators.
