Generous Salary & Benefits:
- Up to $496,915 per year
- Attraction & Retention Allowance 50 of base salary)
- Motor Vehicle Allowance $21,000 - $25,500 p.a.
- Professional Development Allowance $21,500 3.6 weeks leave)
- 4-6 weeks annual leave 14-17.5 loading
- 12.75 employer superannuation contributions
Responsibilities:- Provide anaesthesia services for complex elective and emergency cases.
- Supervise and train anaesthetic registrars, fellows, and junior doctors.
- Conduct pre-operative assessments, pain management, and critical care consultations.
- Support outreach services in rural and regional areas of North Queensland.
- Engage in quality improvement, research, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
Requirements:- Fellowship of ANZCA or equivalent with AHPRA Specialist Registration.
- Experience in general and complex anaesthesia, perioperative medicine, and pain management.
- Leadership, teaching, and mentorship skills.
- Ability to work in regional and outreach settings.
