Job Title: Revit Technician
Location: Denton TX (Hybrid 3 days in office/job site 2 days remote after 90 days)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Revit Technician with strong architectural drafting and modeling expertise to join a growing architectural and engineering team. This role is responsible for creating updating and managing detailed 3D Revit models for municipal building projects including public libraries fire stations police stations city halls parks and other civic structures. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Revit an understanding of architectural design processes and the ability to collaborate closely with project teams to deliver accurate and high-quality drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
Create enter and maintain comprehensive 3D models and technical drawings within Revit software for municipal and commercial architectural projects.
Develop and manage custom Revit families to meet project requirements.
Collaborate with architects engineers and other stakeholders to incorporate design changes and ensure project accuracy.
Utilize work sharing features in Revit to coordinate with other team members efficiently.
Perform basic updates or manipulations to drawings as needed with appropriate approvals.
Ensure all work complies with project specifications industry standards and applicable codes.
Participate in occasional site visits for project measurement coordination or review (minimal overnight travel required).
Complete assigned Revit assessment as part of onboarding/training process.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4 years experience working with Revit in an architectural environment.
Associates or Bachelors degree in Architecture Architectural Technology Drafting or related field (preferred but not required).
Demonstrated proficiency in Revit including family creation and work sharing collaboration.
Experience in commercial or public architecture; residential experience alone will not meet requirements.
Strong attention to detail accuracy and ability to work in a deadline-driven environment.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Work Environment & Schedule:
Hybrid schedule available after 90 days (3 days onsite/in the field 2 days remote).
Occasional travel to job sites required; minimal overnight travel except for annual company training sessions.
