Job Description

FNEX is a global leader in private securities transactions and investment banking specializing in private stock liquidity solutions for institutional investors. With deep market expertise and a focus on innovation FNEX facilitates efficient secure and strategic transactions in the private capital markets.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Manager to oversee and grow relationships with institutional clients engaged in private securities transactions. This role is critical to ensuring exceptional client satisfaction driving revenue growth and delivering tailored liquidity and investment solutions across a portfolio of high-value accounts. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in financial services particularly in private capital markets and a proven track record of strategic client management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned institutional accounts building long-term trusted relationships.

  • Understand clients investment goals liquidity needs and risk profiles to offer relevant FNEX solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal teams including capital markets legal product and operations to deliver seamless client experiences.

  • Monitor client activity usage and engagement to identify opportunities for growth and expansion.

  • Develop account plans and strategic roadmaps to meet revenue and retention targets.

  • Provide market insights deal updates and reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Support new product roll outs and ensure clients are trained and onboarded effectively.

  • Lead regular business reviews and performance meetings with key institutional accounts.

  • Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within client portfolios.

  • Act as the voice of the client driving feedback to product and leadership teams.



Requirements


  • Bachelor s degree in Finance Business Economics or a related field; MBA or CFA a plus.

  • 5 years of experience in account management institutional sales or client success in the financial services industry.

  • Deep understanding of private capital markets investment banking or alternative assets.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a client-first mindset.

  • Ability to manage multiple high-value accounts with attention to detail and strategy.

  • Proven experience meeting or exceeding revenue and retention goals.

  • Comfortable with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and data analysis tools.
