Job Description
Head Preschool Teacher
Pay Rate: $72000.00
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm during the school year (August 20th-June 26th) with summers and school breaks off

Heres what a Head Preschool Teachers day looks like:
- Ensure each students health and safety at all times through adherence to our daily protocols
- Lead preschool classes for children ages 2-5 while using our unique creative and original curriculum to bring learning to life!
- Support each student in their social emotional cognitive and physical growth by learning through play in a positive and caring way
- Engage daily with parents and caregivers sharing your classrooms day-to-day activities and developmental milestones.
- Provide guidance and support to teaching staff demonstrating enthusiasm for positively impacting childrens lives to include observing teaching staff and providing appropriate feedback and instruction.
- Collaborate with the Head of School on administrative tasks including staff scheduling and enrollment management.

- Hold 2 years of lead teaching experience in an early childhood classroom or Pre-k Kindergarten or grades 1-2 (required)
- Have a Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in early childhood education or related field (required)
- Have a New York State Early Childhood Initial or Permanent Certification in 1-6 or B-2 (required)
- Strong classroom management skills creating a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Ability to multitask prioritize and thrive in a fast-paced early childhood environment.

Physical Demands:
The role involves standing walking sitting constant movement and occasional climbing. The ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds is required. Specific sensory abilities include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and adjustment of focus.
